What a great day! The weather was perfect. Clear blue sky and about 65. We found a lovely little church with great music, good sermon and friendly people. After church we went and did a little grocery shopping. We came home and unloaded the groceries and ate lunch. Then we took off for Joshua Tree Ntl Park. What a beautiful, unusual place. There are all of these huge rocks that look like they were tossed down by the hand of God. There were of course lots of Joshua Trees. They were bigger and in better shape than most that I have seen. You could also see off toward the mountains where Big Bear ski resort is. I think they had gotten something like 4 feet of snow during that crazy storm last week.
After we got back from our drive, I took the laundry down to do at the RV park where we are staying. They also have an indoor pool. While the wash was going, I went and did 20 laps in the pool. We also managed to squeeze in watching some football. What a great day !! Oh, did I already say that :-)
