Minnesota

We are camping in southern Minnesota tonight and the campground host just came by to tell us about a tornado warning. Somehow, I never think about tornadoes and Minnesota. I thought we would be north of that crazy weather.

We decided to cut our stay here from 2 nights to 1 night and go on up to North Dakota. If we don't go to North Dakota it will be the only one of the 48 states in the continental US that we haven't been to. So...off we go ! We will go up to Fargo, ND tomorrow and then drop back down to Mitchell, SD the next day.

By the time we get home, we will have been to 32 states as far south as Key West, FL and as far north as New Brunswick, Canada and as far east as Bar Harbor, Maine. We will have been gone 8 days short of 6 months.

We've seen a space shuttle launch, Rascal Flatts at the Grand Ole Opry, Niagara Falls, New York City, Boston, Washington DC and Philadelphia. We've been to San Padre Island, the Natchez Trace, Cumberland Gap, Shenandoah, Great Smokey Mountains, the Everglades and Acadia National Parks.

Quite the trip !
