We made it to San Padre safe and sound. We are parked at the campground for $4 a night... can't beat that. We have a view of the ocean out of our front window, door and kitchen window. There is a boardwalk that goes down to the beach with a big deck at the end of it. It's great for Donnie so that he doesn't have to walk thru the deep sand to get to the hard sand by the water.
We don't have cell phone or internet in the campground but the visitor center is only about 1 mile from the campground and that is where I am now typing this.
We have signed up to stay 5 days but I think that we may stay longer than that. It is quite lovely.
