Tranny is ok.. Thank God !

Wahoo, thank the good Lord, the transmission seems to be fine. The shop thought that it had been overfilled with tranmission fluid but no damage was done. They did a maintainance on it and changed the fluid which had gotten foamy but that needed to be done anyway within 3 months. Also, it was funny, I was wondering what we were going to do while we were waiting for the truck. The shop said to come in at 1 pm so we went down to the Guadalupe Mountains National Park which is about 30 miles south of Carlsbad. The mountain range is created from a huge Capitan Barrier Reef which is now in the middle of New Mexico ! Very interesting.

We got back to the tranmission shop and I noticed a coin laundry so I went over and did the laundry while they worked on the truck. As I was folding the last piece of laundry, Donnie drove up in the truck to pick me up. It was funny. We were back to the trailer by about 3 pm. We got organized in order to leave tomorrow. We want to get out of here cuz it is supposed to get kind of cold.

We will be heading to Big Bend NTl Park tomorrow but will be staying at Balmorhea State Park on the way down there. Took the picture of the sunset tonight.
