We bought a bunch of huge shrimp fresh off the boat this morning before we left Grand Isle. Boiled them all up tonight. We ate them with the last of the fish from our friends on Padre Island. We ate several and I froze two servings and saved one bunch for tomorrow. Lovely.
The campground at Bayou Segnette is completely full for the weekend. Most of our camping neighbors have been from close by in Louisiana. There are lots of kids in the campground. Makes me miss the grandkids.
We will stay here through the weekend and then head for Mississippi on Monday.
