There is a causeway out there but you can't really see it


We went over to the lake this morning. It's only a mile or so from the campground. You can barely see New Orleans on the other side. I believe that I read that the lake is 40 miles across. There is a causeway all the way from where we are over to New Orleans. It's a toll bridge but we will take it to New Orleans when we leave here just so we can say that we did it.

There is a lovely beach area but I don't know if anybody goes in the water. It was about 74 today so still a little cool for water activities.
