All settled for the next 8 days. The park here shows obvious signs of being severely damaged by Katrina but we have a great site with a view of a tidal marsh with shade from some live oaks. We will try to drive into Gulfport and various other places while we are here.
I made reservation for 3 days at Dauphin Island in Alabama. It is in the bay in front of Mobile. It's funny how many states you can hit in just a few miles along here. Mississippi and Alabama have just a few miles of coastal access and then you are in Florida. We won't be going to Florida this year although I sure would like to check out the Harry Potter stuff at Universal in Orlando. Have to save that for another year.
