We had a fun day today. We went over to Alagodones Mexico this morning. Donnie wanted a new wallet, belt & cellphone holder. I just wanted to look around and maybe get a new ring. We found everything we wanted and then a few things. We really like Alagodones because there is a large parking lot on the US side run by the Indian reservation. You can park as long as you want for $5. The town is right across the border so Donnie can easily walk over, around town and back without getting too tired. Lots & lots of retirees getting medicine, dental work, and eyeglasses.
There is a casino on the same reservation on the road toward Alagodones. We stopped there for lunch at their cheap lunch buffet. They gave us each $10 playing money if we got their players card. We had both about played away that money when I hit a $20 jackpot on the penny machine. So lunch was basically free and we were ahead $7. :-)
There is a cool breeze blowing so I'm trying to decide whether to swim or not.
It's been a fun day.
