Unfortunately, my silly camera broke today so I don't have any pictures. We spent 2 night in a Mississippi state park north of Jackson. We left there and got on the Natchez Trace. It is a lovely way to travel. It's a 2 lane road with a speed limit of 50 mph. It very well maintained and there is not much traffic on it so it seems very peaceful.
While leaving the state park this morning we saw a bunny and 2 deer crossing the road. Then while pulling into the state park today we saw a fox. That was cool.
The Trace was full of blooming dogwoods and redbud trees. We also saw lot of wild wisteria, bluebells and red clover. There were fields and fields of yellow and white flowers also that I didn't recognize.
It was a lovely day. We are settled for the night now and I think that we may just go on into Nashville tomorrow. Depends on how early of a start we get.
