Went to a lovely little church in Ville Platte yesterday. We went back to Eunice for the Crawfish Etouffee cookoff. We actually didn't eat etouffee but had jambalaya and boiled crawfish instead. We watched the dancing for awhile and listened to the music. There was a chilly wind blowing and we were kind of tired after our busy Cajun week so we went back to the trailer pretty early.
We took off toward New Orleans today. We are staying for 3 days at Fontainebleau State Park on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain. We have reservations for a KOA in New Orleans for over Easter weekend.
