Well, I think that we saw all 2 inches of Death Valley's annual rainfall. We got started early and saw quite a bit before the rain started in earnest. I was able to take a 2 mile hike in Golden Canyon. Then we went to a Zabriski's point where we could see all over. Donnie was able to walk to the top of that even though it was quite steep. We went over to the sand dunes but after Coral Sand Dunes in Utah and White Sands, they didn't seem like much. I guess some are over 100 feet tall. This is an amazing place. Hard to describe.
It's raining pretty good and we've been out for about 6 hours so back to the trailer for some dinner and tv ! Tough life !
