Concert hall

We had a great day in Round Top, Texas. They have a really extraordinary concert hall and music institute in this little tiny town. The Texas Medical Center Orchestra was playing Wagner, Chopin , and Beethoven. The orchestra was made up of medical personnel and students. The concert center itself is amazing....all kinds of hand carved wood on the interior.

We ate in a funny little cafe in Round Top (population 77). It's supposed to be famous for something. The food was good and it was kind of a funny atmosphere.

We enjoyed the visit with Donnie's cousin and his wife while they were here for several days. We went over to Gruene (pronounced Green for some reason) and looked through their little shops. We also went to Gonzales to visit the old historic stuff there.

Tomorrow should be a day of rest. We are pooped !
