Hurrah! the sun is out and it was around 80 or so today. We had a beautiful drive up to Charleston. Lots and lots of azaleas, wisteria (lavender vine that has blooms sort of like lilacs), a wildflower called crimson clover and dogwood trees were all in bloom. Somehow, I thought about the cherry blossoms in Washington DC but I didn't really think about all of the spring flowers being in bloom. What a bonus !!
Tomorrow we go into Charleston and guess what....eat more seafood !
