Today we went over to Saguaro National Park. The park is actually split into a western and eastern section. We went to the western section. It was very interesting. There are the COOLEST cactus down here. There are some that are really fuzzy looking and you are just dying to touch them. But they warn us not to do that because a piece of the cactus will immediately detach itself and hook itself onto you ! It was so beautiful and warm. Donnie managed a 1/2 mile walk thru the cactus with various stops with information about the desert.
